For Multiple Text question types, it is possible to define how many fields a respondent must complete in order to proceed in the survey.
Similarly to Multiple Select questions, both minimum (MIN) and maximum (MAX) input limits can be configured.
For example, in an open-ended unaided awareness question, respondents may be presented with several text fields. If completion of all fields is not required, a minimum number of required responses can be specified. Once the defined minimum number of fields has been completed, the respondent will be allowed to advance in the survey.
If no minimum or maximum limits are configured, all available text fields will be required by default before the respondent can proceed.
