Once the “Multiple choice” question type is selected, a “Configuration” setting will be seen.
When this setting is selected, the question display type can be configured. Three display options are available:
- Checkbox
- Dropdown
- Dropdown with search
Please note that when either of the dropdown display types is selected, all HTML tags are automatically stripped from the answer options. As a result:
- Images embedded in answer options will not be displayed
- Any custom formatting applied to answer options will not be visible
If answer options include images or specific formatting, a display type other than dropdown should be used.
For Multiple Choice questions, it is possible to define the minimum (MIN) and/or maximum (MAX) number of answer options that must be selected before the respondent can proceed in the survey.
If no limits are specified, the default behavior applies:
- Minimum: 1 selected answer option
- Maximum: All available answer options
If the question includes an Exclusive option, selecting that option allows the respondent to advance regardless of the configured minimum selection requirement.
