Survey Providers
Control access to 3rd-party marketplaces and additional survey offerings within the Panel Settings.
Features include:
- Adding custom survey completion pages
- An easy-to-use toggle system for enabling or disabling marketplaces, allowing seamless switching between providers
Distribution
The Distribution Settings include Syno Marketplace Connection, Rate Card Configurations and Panelist Quarantine Settings.
Rate Cards
- Own: Includes a fixed system fee and incentive allocation based on survey length (Length of Interview - LOI) ranges.
- Private: A unique rate card applicable to specific sample buyers.
- Public: A global rate card available to all buyers, excluding those with private rate cards. Panel owners control the final sample price (Cost Per Interview - CPI) and how the revenue is allocated between the panel owner fee and incentives. Syno retains a fixed revenue share that was set in a contract.
- The rate card table is defined by LOI and incidence rate (IR) ranges. IR refers to the percentage of target audience members who qualify for a survey based on screening criteria.
- Panel owners also control the maximum allowed LOI and the lowest IR.
Panelist Quarantine
Panelist quarantine settings allow control over how frequently panelists receive email survey invitations. By default, the quarantine period is set to 12 hours, meaning a panelist will not receive survey invitations more frequently than every 12 hours.
However, panelists can proactively check for new surveys in their user account with no quarantine restrictions, if the feature to offer surveys is enabled.
Note: Quarantine rule applies only for Syno Marketplace and can be adjusted by the panel owner.

Rewards
Manage panelist reward options with the following to note:
- The available rewards vary by country.
- Clients can configure custom rewards for their own reward distribution or even can disable the option to allow rewards for panelists.
- If required, a full list of available rewards can be provided for the client to select from.
